LiftMaster needed to play catch up in the market with a slide gate operator that could move a 5500 lb gate. Many competitors had a similar product in their lineup, so just adding this to their product line up would not be differentiated. This campaign was built on a key insight: there is little context for how heavy ‘heavy-duty’ actually is. This campaign was built around comparing every day items with 5500 lbs.
